Get answers to common questions about Underarm Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. With regular waxing, hair often becomes finer and regrowth slows, extending the time between appointments.

Yes — waxing removes hair and provides exfoliation that can gradually lessen shadowing. Multiple sessions combined with proper home care and brightening products will yield the best improvement.

You may feel a quick pinch during waxing, but sessions are brief. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine, exfoliate a day or two before, breathe steadily, and follow your esthetician's aftercare recommendations.

Hair should be about 1/4 inch (6mm) long — roughly two to three weeks of growth. If hair is longer, we may trim it for comfort and a more effective wax.

Please remove deodorant or antiperspirant before your appointment so the skin is clean. Residues can interfere with wax adhesion and increase irritation; we’ll cleanse the area before waxing.

Avoid waxing on sunburned, irritated, or broken skin. Certain medications (like isotretinoin) and recent chemical peels or laser treatments may contraindicate waxing. Consult with our esthetician to review medical history.
