During your consultation we assess hair type, skin sensitivity, medical history and aesthetic goals. Expect a thorough evaluation, discussion of Smooth System options, a proposed treatment plan, and time for questions so you leave informed and confident.
We evaluate hair thickness, color, growth patterns, skin tone and sensitivity, plus medications and medical history. These factors help our specialists determine Smooth System effectiveness and create a safe, customized long-term hair removal strategy.
Most skin tones and hair types can be treated, but active sunburn, open wounds, certain skin conditions, or recent use of photosensitizing medications may disqualify you temporarily. We screen carefully and recommend alternatives when needed.
Avoid tanning and harsh exfoliation for at least two weeks, stop waxing or plucking so follicles are present, bring a list of medications, and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. We'll give any further specific instructions during booking.
When appropriate, we perform a small patch test to check skin reaction and treatment response. It may be completed during the consultation or scheduled separately. Results guide device settings and aftercare to improve safety and results.
